Minister of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan, Jeyhun Bayramov, met with the Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, Rashid Meredov
On April 18, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan, Jeyhun Bayramov, held a meeting with the Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, Rashid Meredov, on the sidelines of the Antalya Diplomacy Forum.
During the meeting, the sides discussed the current state of and prospects for the development of Azerbaijan–Turkmenistan relations. They also emphasized the importance of maintaining continuous political dialogue and further strengthening the partnership based on brotherhood, friendship, mutual respect, and trust.
The ministers highlighted the importance of expanding joint projects, transport and transit opportunities, as well as developing logistics connections.
The sides also exchanged views on regional and international security issues.
Cooperation within international organizations and matters of mutual support were also discussed during the meeting.
