Azerbaijani Delegation Participates in the International Conference and Exhibition “Oil and Gas of Turkmenistan – 2025”
From October 22 to 24, 2025, as in previous years, the 30th International Conference and Exhibition “Oil and Gas of Turkmenistan – 2025” (OGT 2025) was held in Ashgabat. The event served as an important platform for strengthening regional cooperation in the energy sector, discussing new projects, and exchanging professional experience.
During the official opening ceremony and the EXPO/Networking Session, representatives of various state institutions, international companies, and regional energy organizations came together to explore opportunities for collaboration. The Republic of Azerbaijan was represented by deputy minister of energy Mr. Orkhan Zeynalov, President of SOCAR Mr. Rovshan Najaf, and other officials of the company.
At the exhibition, SOCAR’s stand was met with great appreciation by participants, showcasing Azerbaijan’s achievements in the energy industry, projects related to the transition to green energy, and its expanding international partnerships. The Azerbaijani delegation also held a series of bilateral meetings, discussing prospects for deepening cooperation across multiple areas of mutual interest.
In the conference sessions, Mr. O.Zeynalov and Mr. R.Najaf delivered speeches highlighting Azerbaijan’s accomplishments in international energy projects, its productive cooperation with brotherly Turkmenistan and other Central Asian states, as well as the prospects for future collaboration. Particular emphasis was placed on the importance of further strengthening the strategic partnership between Azerbaijan and Turkmenistan in the energy sector, deepening mutually beneficial cooperation, and contributing to regional stability and sustainable development.
The event also saw the active participation of Ambassador G.Gozalov of the Republic of Azerbaijan to Turkmenistan and the embassy’s staff members, who took an active part in the event.
