On July 16, the National Leader of Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov paid a visit to the Republic of Azerbaijan.
A guard of honour was formed in tribute to the distinguished guest at Heydar Aliyev International Airport, where the state flags of both countries were waving.
The National Leader of Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov was welcomed by First Deputy Prime Minister of Azerbaijan Yakub Eyyubov, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Samir Sharifov, Ambassador of Azerbaijan to Turkmenistan Gismat Gozalov and as well as other senior officials.
