Prospects for the development of economic cooperation with Turkmenistan have been assessed
The priorities of economic cooperation have been discussed at a meeting held at the Ministry of Economy with the Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan.
Mikayil Jabbarov, Minister of Economy, has met with Nokerguly Ataguliev, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan and Co-Chair of the Joint Intergovernmental Commission on Cooperation in the Economic and Humanitarian Fields between the Republic of Azerbaijan and Turkmenistan.
At the meeting, the current state and development prospects of Azerbaijan–Turkmenistan economic cooperation have been assessed. The importance of the sustainable development of economic partnership between our countries has been emphasized. The potential for strengthening trade and investment cooperation with Turkmenistan has been noted. In addition, opportunities for mutually beneficial cooperation in various areas and for the implementation of joint projects have been highlighted.
The sides have discussed the strategic priorities of bilateral cooperation, as well as the expansion of joint activities in the fields of energy, transport and transit, logistics, and other areas.
