The Exhibition “Azerbaijan - from the lens to history” was presented at the Arkadag city Museum of History and Local Lore
As part of the Cultural Days of Azerbaijan held in Turkmenistan, the exhibition “Azerbaijan - From the Lens to History” was presented on June 6 at the Arkadag city Museum of History and Local Lore.
The event was attended by Murad Huseynov, Deputy Minister of Culture of Azerbaijan, Nursakhet Shirimov, Deputy Minister of Culture of Turkmenistan, Hikmat Mammadov, a member of the Azerbaijani Parliament, Ilgar Fahmi, Secretary of the Azerbaijan Writers’ Union, as well as representatives of the cultural, literary, and scientific communities.
In his speech, Murad Huseynov spoke about the high-level presentation of Azerbaijani culture in Turkmenistan. He described the holding of the Culture Days both in the capital city of Ashgabat and in the city of Arkadag as a significant and noteworthy event.
Speaking at the event, Nursakhet Shirimov emphasized the development of cultural ties between the two nations and noted that the mutual organization of Culture Days serves to further strengthen these relations.
Amira Suleyman, Chairperson of the Azerbaijan Photographers Union, stated that the photographs displayed at the exhibition reflect the country’s modern architecture, the historical and cultural heritage of the liberated territories, and the ongoing restoration and reconstruction efforts.
Following the speeches, the guests toured the exhibition.
