THE AZERBAIJANI DELEGATION PARTICIPATED IN THE MEETING OF THE COUNCIL FOR RAILWAY TRANSPORT OF THE CIS MEMBER STATES HELD IN ASHGABAT
The 84th meeting of the Council for Railway Transport of the member states of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) was held in Ashgabat. Heads of railway administrations, specialists, and industry experts from CIS countries took part in the meeting. Azerbaijan was represented at the event by a delegation led by Nicat Guliyev, Deputy Chairman of "Azərbaycan Dəmir Yolları" CJSC.
During the event, discussions were held on strengthening cooperation in the transport sector across the region, enhancing mutual relations, and developing transport infrastructure. Modern approaches, innovations, and international practices related to railway transport on a global scale were also reviewed.
