President of Turkmenistan visits Victory Park
On June 22, President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov visited Victory Park in Baku.
A guard of honor was lined up in tribute to the distinguished guest.
The President of Turkmenistan laid a wreath at the Victory Monument in the park.
He was then provided with detailed information about Victory Park, created to preserve the memory of the Azerbaijani people’s unparalleled heroism in the Patriotic War, the glorious historic Victory achieved, and to immortalize the cherished memory of the martyrs. It was noted that the park, covering an area of nearly 10 hectares, features at its entrance the Victory Arch symbolizing the 44-day Patriotic War, with a height of 44 meters, a width of 22 meters, and 44 columns.
