Official welcome ceremony held in Baku for the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov
An official welcoming ceremony was held for the President of Turkmenistan, Serdar Berdimuhamedov, who arrived in the Republic of Azerbaijan on a state visit on June 22.
A guard of honour was formed in tribute to the President of Turkmenistan in the square where the national flags of both countries were flying.
President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev welcomed President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov.
The commander of the guard of honor reported to the President of Turkmenistan.
The national anthems of Turkmenistan and the Republic of Azerbaijan were performed.
The guard of honor then marched past President Ilham Aliyev and President Serdar Berdimuhamedov to the accompaniment of a military march.
Members of the Azerbaijani delegation were introduced to President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, while members of the Turkmen delegation were introduced to President Ilham Aliyev.
The two Heads of State posed for an official photograph.
