Azerbaijan and Turkmenistan Discuss Customs Cooperation
On 22 June, a meeting was held at the State Customs Committee of the Republic of Azerbaijan with the Chairman of the State Customs Service of Turkmenistan, Maksat Khudayguliyev.
During the meeting, satisfaction was expressed with the existing cooperation between the customs services of the two countries, and the importance of further expanding bilateral cooperation was emphasized.
The parties also exchanged information on the best practices achieved by their respective customs administrations. They discussed strengthening cooperation in the fields of information technologies, customs statistics, risk management, the organization of customs operations at seaports, and other areas of mutual interest.
